When carpet is produced at the mill, it is made in roll sizes of 300 feet or longer. People place orders for the carpet by using samples, and eventually the rolls decrease in length. The mills accumulate many short roll balances which get placed in their remnant department. That is what Remnant City purchases at greatly discounted prices.

Though we do not go out and do in home estimates, we’d be happy to give you an estimate based on your dimensions. Just measure your rooms from the widest part to the longest. If you are doing multiple rooms it never hurts to draw out your rooms with the measurements. If you put a deposit on a piece of carpet and are concerned about the sizes working we can come out and confirm measurements.

Yes we do have several installers who work full time out of our store. We install Monday through Friday. Typically the wait for an installation is about 2 to 3 weeks. Every installation job is individually priced based off of your square yardage.

We have all sizes of carpeting in stock ranging from small runners and area rugs all the way up to rolls that could carpet your whole house. There is no job too little or too big for us.

Yes, all of our carpet is new – mill direct. All of it is also first quality. When the carpeting comes into our store we personally inspect and measure each roll. If there is a defect or small tear from shipping in the carpet we will mark it on the ticket so the consumer is well aware.
